Fellow disc golfers,

Our job guiding the master plan for Bart -- to make sure the park remains disc golf friendly -- is almost finished.  Thanks to those who attended all the public meetings, we have three possible plans, any of which would be good for disc golf.  However, plan C is better than the others, as described below, so now we need you (and all your friends) to go to this website and vote for plan C:

Both plans B and C have enough space devoted to disc golf that we can restore the course to its original 18 hole format.  But plan C was specifically designed to combine this with the best features from plan A, things that East Austin has been asking for:

1. the larger dog leash-free area -- virtually all leash-free areas in Austin are currently west of I-35, 2. street improvements along 51st to slow traffic (it's now a raceway), and 3. added trail connections to get to the leash-free area.

If we all get behind plan C we can make sure the park remains available to disc golfers while also supporting amenities that East Austin needs.  Vote early and often!
